Service Area
Chesapeake has some of the largest yards in Hampton Roads. Total Lawncare & Scapes brings commercial equipment, a set schedule, and full landscaping and hauling service to Great Bridge, Western Branch, Greenbrier, and beyond.
Lawn Care
Bigger Chesapeake lots need real equipment and a consistent rotation. We run commercial zero-turn mowers to cover acreage without rutting, edge every drive and walk, trim fence lines and around outbuildings, and blow everything down before we pull out. Treatment programs run on a Virginia turf calendar — pre-emergent in late winter, targeted broadleaf control through spring, grub control in summer, and aeration with overseeding in fall.
Landscaping
Chesapeake yards give you room to build. We install and refresh mulch beds at scale, plant trees and shrubs, trim hedges and ornamentals, reshape overgrown beds, and put in paver walkways, patios, and retaining walls. Heavy clay soil holds water in much of the city, so we plan grading and bed drainage as part of the install rather than an afterthought.

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing, crisp edging, string trimming, and blow-down so the property looks sharp every visit.

Fertilization, pre-emergent and broadleaf weed control, grub control, aeration, and overseeding on a Virginia turf calendar.

Mulching, planting, bed reshaping, hedge and shrub trimming, paver walkways, and retaining walls.

Yard debris, storm limbs, old furniture, and construction leftovers loaded and hauled away in one trip.
Half-acre and up is normal here. Commercial mowers and a full crew mean big yards still get finished in one visit.
Clay compacts and holds water. Core aeration and proper bed grading make a bigger difference than extra fertilizer.
Many Chesapeake lots back to canals or ditches. We time cuts around wet ground and build beds that drain instead of pooling.
